Recently, after the review of Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), 《CHINA FOUNDRY》Journal was selected as the source journal of China Science Citation Database (2021-2022). CSCD is the first citation database in China, covering the fields of natural science, engineering technology, medicine and other disciplines. It plays an important role in information navigation in discovering important scientific research achievements and tracking scientific research in China. From 2021 to 2022, China’s science citation database included 1262 source journals, including 245 English journals and 1017 Chinese journals published in China.
《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal was founded in 2004 and co sponsored by Shenyang Foundry Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Foundry Branch of China Society of Mechanical Engineering. As a window for China’s foundry industry and a bridge for international foundry academic exchanges, It is the only English scientific and technological journal in China’s foundry field, which has been published in more than 50 countries and regions.《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal has always unremittingly implemented the relevant press and publication guidelines and policies of the Party and the State, advocated scientific and technological innovation, served casting scientific research and production and trained new academic talents. In recent years, all editors of 《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal have kept forging ahead and made great efforts in focusing on national development strategy, cutting-edge research and hot spots in the foundry industry. Within two years, the thesis about “iron-based”, “titanium alloy” and “additive manufacturing” were published, which improved the academic influence of 《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal and won high praise from industries at home and abroad.
《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal has been included by SCI, Elsevier Scopus, EBSCO and other international well-known databases. In 2020, the impact factor rose to 1.202. It has been successively selected into the field of mechanical engineering, non-ferrous metals, metallurgical engineering technology and metal materials. It has been continuously selected into China’s core scientific and technological journals and China’s excellent academic journals with international influence.
