On 28th May, the National Key R&D Project "large complex thin-walled titanium alloy structural components precision casting technology undertaking by SRIF as the lead was successfully approved in Shenyang. The meeting is hold by industrial development Division 3 of the National industry and information ministry. Xie Huasheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Zhao Jun, vice general manager, project and researches leaders and participating research units representatives also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, Jie Wanqi professor and other 10 review experts listened to the project execution report, checked the sample components and reviewed the project comprehensive review materials. After query and discussion, the experts unanimously agreed that the project achieved the targeted goals, by completing the research contents and satisfying technology requirements. They give highly appraise and fully acknowledged the achievements of SRIF and all participating research units.

At last, Li Ning professor, project leader,on behalf of the entire project members gave a speech. He showed sincere gratitude to the review experts and working personnel. Xie Huasheng, chairman of the board, expressed gratitude to the leaders of Industry and Information Ministry and review experts, and also showed his determination to further promote scientific and technological progress in foundry industry and strengthen strategic cooperation.

This is the first national key R&D targeted project led by our company. The project is jointly undertaken by our company, Huazhong Technology university and Luoyang Shuangrui Investment Titanium Casting Co.,Ltd. And other leading universities, enterprises and research institutes in the field of titanium alloy casting in China.
During the process, project team overcame the influence of covid-19, successfully broke through multiple key technologies related to large complex high performance titanium castings with careful plan, collaborative efforts and continuous research and development. The successful project reception not only provided valuable experience in process management, implementation and promotion of subsequent major scientific and technological projects, but also laid a solid foundation for our company to further carry out research and development of titanium components for national key equipment.
