In May 21st., 2022 Academic Committee Meeting of State Key Laboratory of Light Alloy Technology for High-end Equipment was successfully held in our company via on-line.
Xie Huasheng, researcher, chairman of our company, vice dean of the laboratory, gave a welcome speech on behalf of the laboratory. He extended a warm welcome for the members of the Committee for their valuable time to attend this meeting to listen to work report and give guidance of the re-organization of the laboratory.
Lou Yanchun, researcher of the laboratory, vice general manager of the China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group, gave a report regarding to the team building, progress of the research work, current scientific and technological projects, intellectual property and achievements, opening-up and exchanges for the last five years and re-organization of the laboratory.
In the meeting, members of the committee made discussion about the development and re-organization of the laboratory, and provided valuable opinions and suggestions. Li Yuanyuan, academician, made a discussion and summary on the re-organization plan. He spoke highly of the development of the laboratory in the past five years, and put forward three constructive suggestions on the future development direction of the laboratory re-organization based on the opinions and suggestions of various committee members: first, focusing on the national positioning, the laboratory should carefully find its own shortcomings and further refine the research directions; Second, the laboratory needs to continuously improve the basic research capability to serve the domestic foundry enterprises and promote the technological progress of the industry; Third, the laboratory needs to further deepen the reform of system and mechanism, introduce and foster strategic scientists in the foundry field with a more open attitude, and cultivate leading talents, teams and young scientific and technological talents.
Wangdecheng, chairman of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group, made a summary of the meeting. He congratulated the establishment of the new academic committee, sincerely thanked all academicians and experts for their strong support to the National Key Laboratory of SRIF and China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group. He stated that the laboratory would actively implement the re-organization plan and development suggestions recognized by the committee, increase the investment in laboratory construction funds, make good use of the national defense and military industry background, deepen cooperation with co-construction units and all academicians teams to realize the opening-up and sharing of the laboratory.
